The Prius Plug-In Hybrid is 50 mm lower, 20 mm wider, and 25 mm longer than the previous generation of the vehicle. The lower centre of gravity, reduced weight and increased rigidity of the second-generation TNGA-C creates a wider stance and a lower driving position that feels sporty, yet comfortable.

Drive Modes

The four different drive modes maximize power and fuel efficiency, for a variety of driving styles and conditions.

NORMAL MODE

Provides an excellent balance between driving performance and fuel efficiency, suiting a wide variety of driving scenes.

ECO MODE

To enhance fuel economy, a gentler amount of torque is generated when pressing the accelerator, and air conditioning operation (heating/cooling) is suppressed.

SPORT MODE

For more responsive steering and accelerating, the powertrain delivers more control and sportier driving.

No Additional Maintenance

Toyota’s Hybrid design can help reduce wear & tear on your Hybrid vehicle, such as the fact that the engine is off part of the time while in electric-only mode, and there are no starters, alternators or belts to be replaced.
